OUR WORK
Providing landscaping services across Oxfordshire and the neighbouring regions, Infinity Landscapes and Design has an impressive portfolio of work, encompassing gardens large and small. Below we have listed most of them, some however aren't chronicled.
Tom - Cumnor, December 2025
Tom approached us to transform his existing driveway in Cumnor into a cleaner, more practical surface that would sit comfortably within its surroundings. The brief focused on durability, neat detailing and long-term usability. We installed a gravel driveway, precisely retained with bespoke steel edging that was welded on site to achieve crisp lines and a robust finish. To prevent gravel migration onto the road, a block paving restraint strip was introduced at the entrance, providing both a functional solution and a subtle visual transition. An inset drainage cover was carefully incorporated to conceal an existing manhole while maintaining full access and a seamless appearance. To complete the project, topsoil was graded around the perimeter in preparation for seeding, allowing the driveway to soften naturally into its surroundings over time. The result is a refined, well-considered driveway that combines practical engineering with understated detailing.
Paul - Upper Heyford, November 2025
Paul asked us to enhance the entrance to his home in Upper Heyford by extending the existing paving and introducing a feature structure over the front door. The aim was to improve both practicality and kerb appeal while working sympathetically with the materials already in place. We carefully extended the paved area using the client’s existing slabs, ensuring a seamless transition and a consistent finish. Above the entrance, we designed and built a bespoke timber porch structure, adding depth, character and a clear focal point to the front elevation. The finished entrance feels more defined and welcoming, combining practical weather protection with handcrafted timber detailing that complements the property’s style.
Sue - Kidlington, Oct/Nov 2025
Sue asked us to carry out a complete renovation of her garden in Kidlington, transforming a tired, fragmented space into a cohesive and highly functional outdoor environment. The brief focused on creating clean lines, durable surfaces and practical storage, while ensuring the garden remained welcoming and easy to maintain.
The project included the installation of Indian sandstone paving, a new lawn and carefully defined gravel margins to frame the space and improve flow. All elements were designed to work together, balancing natural textures with strong architectural detailing. A bespoke lean-to storage area was designed and built entirely in-house, providing discreet and practical storage without dominating the garden. In addition, all perimeter fencing was handcrafted on site using horizontal slatted timber, delivering privacy while maintaining a contemporary, understated aesthetic. The finished garden is a refined, well-structured space that demonstrates the value of thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship, offering both visual impact and everyday usability.
Judy - Northleach, October 2025
Judy asked us to refresh her front garden in Northleach, creating a cleaner, more structured space while retaining a sense of individuality. Although compact, the garden required careful detailing to ensure the design felt considered rather than overworked. A bespoke front fence was installed using varying board lengths to introduce subtle rhythm and visual interest. The main gravel area was neatly contained using steel edging, which we fabricated and welded on site to achieve crisp, durable lines that follow the shape of the space precisely. The result is a refined, low-maintenance front garden that enhances the character of the property and delivers a strong first impression through thoughtful craftsmanship and clean detailing.
Mark - Swindon, September 2025
Mark commissioned us to both design and build a complete garden transformation at his Swindon property. The brief was to create a modern, low-maintenance space with clearly defined zones for relaxation, storage and planting, while making the most of the available footprint. The garden was constructed using porcelain paving, artificial turf and bespoke sleeper-built planting beds, creating a strong balance between clean architectural lines and softer green elements. Careful attention was given to layout and levels to ensure the space flowed naturally and felt cohesive from every angle. A key feature of the project was the installation of a large timber garden room. While the structure was sourced from a specialist manufacturer, we undertook the full build ourselves—delivering a high-quality finish while significantly reducing overall costs by carrying out the installation in-house. The build was complex and required precise sequencing and coordination, as reflected in the construction stages. The finished garden is a refined, contemporary outdoor space that combines thoughtful design with robust craftsmanship, resulting in a practical yet visually striking environment tailored to the client’s needs.
Asif - Abingdon, September 2025
Asif asked us to soften the frontage of his Abingdon property by introducing greenery and structure to complement the existing hard landscaping. The aim was to move away from an entirely block-paved appearance and bring a more natural, welcoming feel to the front of the home. We installed a fresh lawn, carefully edged to create clean, defined lines, and introduced new planting beds around the perimeter to frame the space and add seasonal interest. The planting helps balance the harder surfaces while improving kerb appeal and biodiversity. The result is a simple yet effective transformation that enhances the character of the property, creating a greener, more inviting frontage without compromising practicality.
Alex - Wooton, August 2025
Alex asked us to create a high-quality patio in his garden, designed specifically for hosting family and friends. The brief was for a timeless, elegant space that would sit comfortably alongside future landscaping works. The patio was constructed using Egyptian limestone, complemented by a refined block-paved feature laid with matching limestone setts to add interest and elevate the overall design. Particular attention was paid to the finer details, including the seamless integration of two manhole covers, discreetly concealed using an inset drainage system to maintain clean, uninterrupted lines. The surrounding turf was intentionally left in place, allowing Alex the flexibility to complete additional landscaping at his own pace. The finished patio provides a durable, stylish entertaining space that blends practicality with thoughtful craftsmanship.
Ashin & Rajeev - Horspath, June 2025
Ashin and Rajeev commissioned us to transform their garden from an overgrown, neglected space into a refined and highly functional outdoor environment. The design focused on restoring structure, improving flow and opening up the garden to create a sense of calm and balance. Following a full clearance, the layout was carefully reshaped to introduce expansive lawn areas and a flowing gravel path that naturally guides movement through the garden. Soft curves were used to break up the scale of the space, while crisp edges and new planting zones add definition and long-term visual interest. The finished garden is bright, spacious and elegant, offering a clean, modern landscape that is easy to maintain and a complete transformation from its former condition.
Elenor - Northleach, April 2025
Eleanor asked us to transform her small garden into a peaceful space where she could relax and enjoy birdsong. Our simple, considered design makes the most of the available space while keeping the layout calm and uncluttered. The garden features a well-sized patio, ideal for hosting family and friends, alongside two sleeper beds that add structure and create opportunities for colourful planting. A gently curving gravel path, edged with contrasting anthracite setts, leads to two distinct corners—one designed for barbecuing and the other a quiet retreat beneath a bespoke timber arbour, hand-built by our team.
Sutton Courtenay, May 2024
This remarkable transformation demonstrates the value of adding different textures to large gardens to break up the space and ensure flow throughout the garden. Working with so many different materials - porcelain paving, block edging, steel edging, gravel, lawns, planting, slatted fencing, timberwork pergolas, resin-bound paths and herringbone paving - required us to dust off all of our skills, but the end result was definitely worth the effort. The central timber pergola will become a canopy of green when the climbing plants colonise the wires stretched across the frame. The circle of resin-bound surface will host a fire-pit, immediately visible from the house, and providing an elegant seating area for cool Summer evenings. Stepping stones laid into the gravel provide variety and interest, while the formal patio and lawn give clean lines and define the space. Already a delightful space, this garden will be elevated yet further as the planting matures and takes over more of the space, breaking up the formal areas and providing a rich and vibrant backdrop to the cleaner lines.
Kidlington, January 2024
Small gardens deserve the same attention and skill as vast landscapes. Through dividing this compact space into distinct usable areas - decking, pathways, lawns, and planting - we feel we have demonstrated the impact that careful design can have on even the tightest of spaces. Our trademark slat fencing panels - an Infinity exclusive built on-site - we brightened up the boundaries of the garden, making the space seem larger and more open. The small lawn, near planting, and composite decking provide distinctive areas for entertaining and relaxing, while the custom water feature adds sound and movement to the space. A unique feature of this garden is a hedgehog highway, enabling some of our clients pricklier visitors to get across the space without interrupting their ability to explore their territorial ranges and to get to hibernation sites in time for winter.
Clanfield, November 2023
This beautiful garden was a labour of love both for our team, and the clients whose input was vital to the design. Drawing on elements of Victorian-era public parks, with formal lawn areas and tall standard-style streetlamps, sweeping self-binding gravel paths lead through this Dickensian fantasy to large outbuildings at the far end. Cast iron fencing, herringbone block paving, and the sash window on the seating shelter call to mind the industrial aesthetic of the Nineteenth Century, reminding us that gardens and parks were vital oases in the urban landscape. The curvaceous paths, Indian sandstone patio, and our trademark slat fence panels ensure provide a contemporary twist, providing a clean backdrop against which the classic detailing can be appreciated. While the formal lines make this narrow space seem impressive in the daytime, it is at night when it truly comes into its own, a wonderful space for entertaining and relaxing.
